As a child, I was always fascinated by these magnificent trees. Their sheer size and presence left me in awe every time I encountered them. One of my most vivid memories is visiting the Giant Sequoia Groves National Park, where I was amazed by the enormity of even just the roots of these trees. As I grew older, my fascination with Sequoia Trees only deepened. Their grandeur and resilience in the face of time continued to inspire me. “Voices of The Sequoia” is a piece that seeks to capture the essence of these remarkable trees. It begins by creating a woodland soundscape that mirrors the constant movement and life found within the sequoia forests. The piece serves as a heartfelt tribute to these ancient giants, aiming to convey the overwhelming sense of wonder they evoke in me.
